Blood Donation Event by the CDI College Calgary City Centre Campus
CDI College Calgary City Centre students, faculty and staff participated at the blood donation drive to support people in need. According to the Canadian Blood Services blood and blood components are used to treat a number of injuries and illnesses, including various forms of cancer, hip and joint surgery, transplants, trauma patients such as car accident victims, patients with blood disorders, and many others.
Here is what the Hospitality Business Management program student Rose says about her experience at CDI College: “My teacher helped me in motivating my dreams, and taught me how to make a good and presentable portfolio. He encourages me to study more and to stay focused on my studies. He helps me gain more confidence in myself, also when it comes to interacting with others. Every classroom offers computers, which makes things feel innovative. We never have worry about bringing our own. It is a big help with our homework and projects. I have loved and liked my time here on campus. The classroom setup and the friendliness of everyone is nice. Instructors are awesome, too. You will not get bored, and if you ever do, the instructor will find a way to motivate you. I am glad that I was given an opportunity to study once again, to go to college and take whatever program makes me comfortable.”
